SAN FRANCISCO and JERICHO, N.Y. – Instacart has added 1-800-Flowers.com to its marketplace, marking the first nationwide pure-play floral partnership on the Instacart app and expanding same-day gifting options ahead of Valentine’s Day.
Through the partnership, customers across the U.S. can order fresh bouquets and gifts from more than 700 participating 1-800-Flowers.com florist locations for quick delivery. The move expands Instacart’s selection during one of the year’s busiest gifting seasons and allows shoppers to access local florist inventory directly within the app.
“Welcoming 1-800-Flowers.com to the Instacart App gives customers convenient access to fresh flowers with the same speed and reliability they expect from Instacart,” said Blake Wallace, vice president of retail partnerships at Instacart. “It adds flexibility and variety for sending gifts during life’s special moments.”
Jon Feldman, chief commercial officer at 1-800-Flowers.com, said the integration helps the company reach customers where they already shop while supporting its local florist network. “This partnership brings greater speed and accessibility, especially during peak moments like Valentine’s Day,” he said.
Instacart reported that seasonal demand continues to increase. According to 2025 purchase data, orders for combination flower bouquets and fresh cut roses jumped over 1,000% on Feb. 14. Customers can pre-order specialty bouquets starting Feb. 9, with same-day orders available through the evening of Feb. 14 in select markets. After the holiday, shoppers can schedule floral deliveries up to five days ahead or choose on-demand service.
1-800-Flowers.com joins the Instacart app without markup, enabling customers to buy at the same prices as the floral retailer.
