Morris joined Walmart in February 2020 from Adobe, where she spent nearly 20 years and served as executive vice president of employee experience and chief human resources officer. That background has informed her approach at Walmart, where her team is focused on aligning people strategy with the company’s long-term business and technology priorities.

Today, Walmart’s global people priorities are focused on partnering on the growth of the business and the workforce, strengthening the associate experience, accelerating AI fluency across the workforce, and designing the workforce of the future by bringing people and technology together.

“As Walmart continues to grow to serve our customers and members across countries, and work continues to change with technology, my focus is ensuring we have the best experience for our associates to grow and contribute to our purpose of saving people money and living better. We are striving to be the best example of a company leveraging AI at scale — using technology to accelerate and simplify work and ensuring our people are in the roles where they can make the difference,” Morris said.
