MORRISTOWN, N.J. — Actavis Inc.’s FeverAll acetaminophen suppositories have returned to store shelves.
Actavis Inc.’s FeverAll acetaminophen suppositories have returned to store shelves.
The product, which provides an alternative to oral analgesics for fever reduction or pain relief, has been unavailable for several months while changes were being made to the manufacturing facility where it is made.
The product is now once again available in 80-, 120- and 325-milligram strengths, for infants and children. The company said FeverAll is sought out by many parents who prefer acetaminophen in suppository form when their child’s fever or pain is accompanied by an upset stomach, or when their child has difficulty swallowing.
