NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. — Health Enterprises Inc. has landed retail distribution for its Acu-Life 3-in-1 Finger Injury Kit at Boots stores.

Health Enterprises Inc. has landed retail distribution for its Acu-Life 3-in-1 Finger Injury Kit at Boots stores.

The company said the kit is indicated for the treatment of minor finger injuries and treats the "three stages of finger injuries."

According to Health Enterprises, the first stage is to treat the finger injury. To that end, the kit includes a custom designed finger gel pack to provide cold therapy to reduce swelling and relieve pain. It’s placed in the freezer to activate cold and can be reused as needed.

The next stage is to protect the finger from additional injury, which is achieved via the kit’s comfort splint that shields and immobilizes the recovering finger.

Finally, the kit provides support for the finger through recovery. Reusable neoprene finger straps dubbed "Finger Buddies" help to protect and support the finger as it heals. The company noted that the adjustable Finger Buddies offer a different way to "buddy tape" injured fingers.

"Finger injuries affect people of all ages and abilities, whether it is from playing sports or an unfortunate accident," stated Brendan Leonard, president of Health Enterprises. "Our Acu-Life 3-in-1 Finger Injury Kit provides a unique system for treating these finger injuries and can be easily stored at home with other first aid items for use when needed."

Also available at Boots stores, the company added, is the Acu-Life Shower Sleeve, which protects casts and wounds while showering and adjusts to fit hands, arms, elbows, feet, knees and legs.
