ARLINGTON, Va.— FMI, The Food Industry Association, has announced a strategic partnership with i3 International, a leader in AI-driven safety and security solutions, to merge their respective asset protection (AP) events into a unified conference. The combined event will take place at the 2025 Asset Protection and Grocery Resilience Conference in St. Louis, promising a broader reach and more profound professional impact under the FMI brand.

The collaboration integrates i3 International’s Innovision event with FMI’s established AP conference, creating a comprehensive platform for asset protection professionals across industries. The event aims to redefine the AP landscape by showcasing innovative solutions and fostering cross-industry collaboration.

Vy Hoang, Chief Customer Officer at i3 International, emphasized the event’s expanded scope. “Joining our event, Innovision, with FMI’s Asset Protection and Grocery Resilience Conference extends our reach to asset protection professionals across all industries, not just grocery,” Hoang said. “This event will showcase the best-in-class solution providers and AP thought leadership, establishing our gathering as a professional community coming together to redefine what it means to work in AP.”

Doug Baker, Vice President of Industry Relations at FMI, highlighted the benefits of the partnership. “We see great value in teaming up with i3 International because of their strengths in security and business intelligence. Through our partnership, we aim to grow attendees’ interest and operational knowledge regarding risk reduction strategies.”

The conference will feature diverse educational sessions addressing current and emerging challenges within the asset protection community, an inclusive environment encouraging participation from professionals beyond the grocery sector, and opportunities to connect with industry leaders offering best-in-class solutions.

The 2025 Asset Protection and Grocery Resilience Conference will be held in St. Louis from March 31 to April 3. Registration is open at FMI.org/APGR.
