KATY, Texas — H-E-B has opened its newest Houston-area store with the launch of the H-E-B Jordan Ranch location on October 29. The 116,000-square-foot large-format supermarket is the retailer’s westernmost H-E-B in the Houston region, aimed at serving fast-growing communities in Katy, Fulshear, and surrounding areas of Ft. Bend, Waller, and Harris counties.
“Opening our doors in this growing community is an honor, and we look forward to providing our neighbors with convenient, close-to-home shopping experiences and solutions,” said Juan Siso, Top Store Leader and 17-year H-E-B partner.
The store features several destination elements, including a walk-up Seafood Boil stand outside the entrance, a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with drive-up parking, a 37-space curbside pickup zone, and a fuel station with a car wash. Inside, shoppers will find a specialty strawberry stand in the bakery offering fresh strawberries topped with warm Belgian ganache, exclusive to the Jordan Ranch store.
Designed with a modern prairie style, the location includes eco-friendly features such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting.
In line with its Spirit of Giving commitment, H-E-B celebrated the opening by donating $20,000 to community organizations. Foundations supporting Katy ISD, Lamar CISD, and Royal ISD each received $5,000. Texana Cafe, a Fulshear nonprofit that offers employment and training opportunities for neurodiverse individuals, also received $5,000 in gift cards.
H-E-B continues to expand across Texas through various formats, including Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop, Mi Tienda, and Favor Delivery.
