SAN FRANCISCO and DALLAS – Instacart has announced a new partnership with Bottlecapps, an e-commerce platform serving over 1,300 alcohol retailers, to integrate Instacart’s Carrot Ads technology into Bottlecapps’ network.
The partnership will enable Bottlecapps retailers across the U.S. and Canada to access Instacart’s performance-driven retail media platform, offering new advertising inventory for alcohol brands and expanding their digital reach. Carrot Ads allows brands to deliver personalized product recommendations and boost discovery for customers shopping online for alcohol products.
Advertisers using Instacart will soon be able to extend their campaigns to Bottlecapps’ e-commerce storefronts, helping them engage high-intent shoppers and enhance the path to purchase across the alcohol category.
“Our partners choose Carrot Ads because of our performant ad technology, strong advertiser demand, and trusted closed-loop measurement, making it easy for them to quickly launch and scale an advertising business,” said Alice Luong, Senior Director of E-commerce & Retail Media at Instacart. “Bottlecapps has built a strong e-commerce foundation for alcohol retailers, and we’re excited to help them take the next step in growing their retail media capabilities. Through this partnership, Bottlecapps’ network of retailers will be able to enhance product discovery for customers shopping across their digital storefronts.”
Corey Gerstner, Chief Operating Officer at Bottlecapps, added, “We’re committed to helping provide cutting edge e-commerce tools to help our alcohol retailers find new ways to inspire purchase with customers. By choosing the Instacart Carrot Ads solution, we’re now able to equip our network of retailers with effective tools to display the right products at the right moments to their customers. Together, we’re generating new media revenue for our partners and optimizing the discovery and purchasing process for their customers from search to delivery.”
The announcement builds on the companies’ existing relationship. Instacart has supported same-day delivery for Bottlecapps retailers since 2022. The Carrot Ads integration is expected to be live for Bottlecapps partners later this year.
Carrot Ads is already powering retail media businesses for more than 220 retail banners, including Schnucks and Thrive Market, enabling retailers to monetize their digital platforms with Instacart’s advertising demand and closed-loop measurement.
