NEW YORK -- KSECRET, the K-beauty brand behind the viral SEOUL 1988 line, is launching its skin care essentials into more than 500 Ulta Beauty stores and on the beauty retailer’s website.
The KSECRET hashtag has generated more than 2 billion TikTok views over the past year. The brand is known for its retinal formulations. Hero products incluce Serum: Retinal Liposome 2% + Black Ginseng ($22), and Eye Cream: Retinal Liposome 4% + Fermented Bean ($22).
Rooted in Korean skin care heritage and designed to deliver visible results, KSECRET pairs advanced skin care technology with ingredient expertise, the company said in a statement. Similar to Retinol, KSECRET utilizes retinal, a vitamin A derivative, but works up to 11 times faster to improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone and texture.
The brand says it utilizes “thoughtfully formulated ingredients” to address key skin concerns through various strengths of retinal.
KSECRET features retinal products ranging from beginner to advanced. With retinal liposome 1%, 2%, 4% and 12%, KSECRET offers options for those starting their retinal journey and experienced retinoid users looking to advance their skincare routines.
The Ulta Beauty launch marks another milestone in the brand's U.S. expansion, following its Costco debut earlier this year. In addition to its hero retinal products, the ULTA Beauty assortment includes a range of skin care essentials designed to complement everyday routines.
