HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Snickers brand has introduced a new candy bar called the Snickers Crisper, a multitextured snack of crisped rice and peanuts, topped with a layer of caramel and coated in milk chocolate.

According to Mars Chocolate North America, Snickers Crisper has less than 200 calories per serving — a singles pack includes two squares at less than 100 calories each.

“Snickers is all about satisfying hunger, and we’re excited to do that in a new and delicious way with Snickers Crisper,” said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, director of Snickers brand.

“Crisper delivers a new snacking option with a combination of textures, so it only made sense to highlight combinations of hilarious hunger symptoms in our supporting campaign as well.”

Snickers Crisper bars are available at various locations including mass retailers and vending machines. A 1.41-ounce single bar sells for a suggested 99 cents to $1.09; a 2.83-ounce “4 to Go” bar sells for $1.69 to $1.79; and a 10.61-ounce medium Fun Size bag sells for $2.69 to $3.99.
