PALM BEACH, Fla. – The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) proudly honored Jim Whitman with the distinguished Sheldon W. Fantle Lifetime Achievement Award at last night's Board of Directors Dinner & Entertainment during the 2025 NACDS Annual Meeting. Jim and Karen Whitman were honored for their remarkable dedication and contributions to the industry over nearly five decades.

Jim, who will retire in June as NACDS’ senior vice president of member programs and services, has been a pillar of the association, dedicating 48 years to advancing its member-driven mission with boundless energy, commitment, and leadership.
This tribute was particularly significant as Jim has been instrumental in constantly transforming and sustaining the NACDS Annual Meeting and other NACDS meetings and conferences as premier events that foster industry relationships and drive advancement.
