PLANO, Texas — Sally Beauty Holdings Inc. today posted fiscal third-quarter financial results that met Wall Street's expectations. Net sales of $935 million were flat against the year-earlier period while per-share earnings increased 25% to $0.55.
Comparable-store sales were also flat against the third quarter of fiscal 2025. Digital commerce was a bright spot, with global e-commerce sales rising 11% to $110 million, representing 12% of net sales.
The specialty retailer said cash from operations of $81 million is being deployed to spur growth, strengthen the balance sheet and return cash to investors.
“Our third quarter results reflect the progress we are making against our long-term strategy and the underlying strength of our operating model,” said Denise Paulonis, president and chief executive officer.
Sally Beauty’s operations in the United States and Canada delivered another strong quarter, she said, with 3.5% comparable-sales growth, supported by the strength of hair color, digital growth and new-customer acquisition.
“Importantly, the traction we are seeing across our strategic initiatives has helped drive 9% adjusted EPS growth year-to-date, underscoring our ability to deliver profitable growth while investing in the future,” Paulonis said. “As we enter the final quarter of fiscal 2026, we remain focused on investing behind the growth initiatives that position Sally Beauty Holdings to deliver sustainable, profitable growth and long-term shareholder value.”
Sally Beauty is looking to sustain momentum from its “Sally Ignited” initiative to burnish its appeal to beauty shoppers with updated store layouts and curated collections of fragrances, hair care products and nail art.
The brand refresh was introduced last year to “transform the business from a trusted beauty supplier to a modern, dynamic beauty powerhouse,” according to Paulonis. The updated store encourages discovery and interaction, important elements in Sally Beauty’s strategy of building momentum around increased comfort in DIY approaches in the brand’s core categories.
