SAN FRANCISCO — Simbe, the physical intelligence platform for retail, announced it has surpassed 3,000 autonomous units under contract.
Simbe’s deployment scale places the company among a small group of physical AI companies operating a fleet of shelf-scanning robots at thousands-unit scale.
In the decade since introducing Tally, the world’s first inventory robot, Simbe is building on that sustained leadership to evolve from leading in autonomous shelf digitization to building a broader platform for the physical store.
The system tracks inventory availability, product location, prices, promotions and merchandising conditions. Simbe uses that store-level data to support applications, workflows, AI agents and connected devices used by retailers.
