Weigel’s rolls out MyWeigel’s Pay

The new payment option reduces pump friction by enabling faster pay-at-the-pump and easier account management.

POWELL, Tenn. — Weigel’s begins 2026 with a significant update to its digital and loyalty programs, introducing MyWeigel’s Pay along with a redesigned MyWeigel’s Rewards mobile app. Both efforts aim to simplify fuel payments for customers and make savings and rewards more accessible.

MyWeigel’s Pay is an upgraded version of the old Weigel’s Club Card and is fully integrated into the retailer’s mobile app. This new feature allows guests to securely link their bank accounts directly to their MyWeigel’s account, providing an automatic $0.20-per-gallon discount on fuel when paying through the program.

According to the company, the new payment option is designed to reduce friction at the pump by enabling faster pay-at-the-pump functionality and easier account management within the app. By integrating payment directly into its digital platform, Weigel’s aims to streamline the fueling experience while providing consistent value.

“MyWeigel’s Pay is about making the everyday easier,” said Doug Yawberry, CEO and president. “By simplifying how guests pay and automatically delivering fuel savings, we’re creating a more connected experience that adds real value at the pump.”

The payment feature works seamlessly with MyWeigel’s Rewards, giving customers a single hub to manage fuel discounts, rewards points, and payments. Weigel’s stated that the tighter integration between payment and loyalty aims to increase regular visits and encourage deeper engagement by connecting how guests pay with how they save.

MyWeigel’s Pay launches the same week as a redesigned MyWeigel’s Rewards app. The updated app features a streamlined, utility-focused design that highlights speed and clarity from the moment users open it. Key features — including rewards, fuel discounts, offers, and games — are now easier to find and navigate, enabling customers to move more smoothly between earning, redeeming, and engaging.

“Our goal was to make the app work harder for the guest,” said Nick Triantafellou, director of marketing and merchandising. “Every design decision was focused on removing friction, highlighting value and making it easier for guests to access the rewards and savings they care about most.”

The redesigned layout reduces visual clutter while emphasizing the most frequently used tools in the loyalty program. Customers can easily check points, view current deals, access fuel savings, explore value options like the $6 W Menu, and participate in interactive activities that encourage ongoing engagement.

Weigel’s said the update better aligns digital touchpoints with actual guest behavior, encouraging participation while remaining familiar to longtime users. The app redesign was developed in partnership with Rovertown.

Founded in 1931, the family-owned East Tennessee retailer operates 84 convenience stores, along with its own dairy and bakery businesses. Customers can register for MyWeigel’s Pay and enjoy the updated rewards experience by downloading or updating the Weigel’s app.
