SOLON, Ohio — In July, Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM) plans to air a supplier webcast on beauty care and personal care featuring Walgreens executive Shannon Curtin.
In July, Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM) plans to air a supplier webcast on beauty care and personal care featuring Walgreens executive Shannon Curtin.
Curtin, who serves as group vice president and general merchandise manager for beauty and personal care at Walgreens, will focus on strategies and tools that suppliers can use to bolster their partnership with the nation’s largest drug chain. The free, live webcast also will outline new protocols and procedures to follow in dealing with the retailer’s beauty buyers to enhance productivity for all parties.
Topics to be discussed include Walgreens’ beauty vision, Walgreens team members key points of contact, guiding principles for in-person meetings with Walgreens buyers, national brand and owned-brand opportunities, and imports and global sourcing, according to ECRM.
Titled "Building Your Beauty and Personal Care Business with Walgreens," the one-hour webcast will be held on July 1 at 2 p.m. ET. The session, for which MMR‘s sister publication Chain Drug Review is a media sponsor, will be hosted and moderated by Joseph Tarnowski, vice president of content for ECRM.
Shannon Curtin, GVP/GMM, Beauty and Personal Care for Walgreens will discuss how beauty suppliers can most effectively conduct business discussions to help build a better partnership and an even better Walgreens for its customers and patients.
