H-E-B expands retail media network with new self-service capabilities

The new tools allow brands to independently activate and manage promoted product campaigns across heb.com and the My H-E-B App.

AUSTIN — H-E-B and Epsilon have launched a new suite of self-service capabilities in the H-E-B Retail Media Network, marking a significant step in the Texas grocer’s effort to empower brands with more control and flexibility in their digital marketing strategies.

Developed in partnership with Epsilon’s Retail Media platform, the new tools allow brands to independently activate and manage promoted product campaigns across heb.com and the My H-E-B App. The rollout includes advanced features such as 24/7 real-time performance reporting, campaign pacing metrics, and bulk management, enabling advertisers to efficiently update bids, keywords, and product listings at scale.

“H-E-B is focused on creating a retail media platform that meets the unique needs of our Partners, brands, and customers,” said Sean Ransenberg, Managing Director and GM, H-E-B Retail Media. “These new self-service capabilities support our mission to make it easier for brands of all sizes to connect with local Texas communities throughout their digital shopping journey. It’s another way we’re helping our brand partners drive results while staying true to H-E-B’s tailored and local approach.”

With access to key campaign metrics—such as sales, click-through rate, and cost per click—marketers gain deeper insights and performance transparency across on-site, off-site, in-store, and email channels. The platform’s intuitive UI helps streamline campaign updates and optimizations.

“As we continue to innovate and adapt to the evolving digital landscape, we are thrilled to work with H-E-B to deliver solutions that empower advertisers and drive growth for retail brands,” said Adam Skinner, managing director, global unified retail media at Epsilon. “We are also helping H-E-B meet brands’ calls for standardization and increased access to buying options, while still customizing for their unique differentiators and ecosystems.”

The initiative is further strengthened by enhanced functionality through Skai, a leading omnichannel commerce media platform, which provides advertisers with additional tools for planning, managing, and measuring their campaigns.

The H-E-B Retail Media Network reaches more than 8 million households each week and was recently recognized as the #1 U.S. grocer by dunnhumby. For more information, visit hebretailmedia.com.
