BENTONVILLE, Ark.— Diana Marshall, the first chief experience officer (CXO) at Sam’s Club, will leave the company at the end of June, concluding a tenure spanning more than 20 years. The company said the move was a personal decision and comes amid a broader executive reshaping under Walmart CEO John Furner.
Marshall joined Walmart in 2005 as a replenishment trainee and went on to hold several senior roles, including EVP and chief growth officer. She was named Sam’s Club’s inaugural CXO in January 2025.
She was named a Women of Influence by MMR in 2025.
During her tenure, Marshall helped drive a more unified, customer-centric approach across the business, overseeing the expansion of digital tools such as Scan & Go and advancing the use of AI to enhance the member experience.
