NIQ strengthens retail media leadership with Drew Dabbelt appointment

Dabbelt, with nearly 15 years in media, advertising tech, and retail, will lead retail media network innovation and develop new solutions.

CHICAGO NielsenIQ (NIQ) has appointed Drew Dabbelt as Vice President of Retail Media for North America, underscoring the company’s continued investment in retail media and its commitment to expanding capabilities for retailers and brands.

Dabbelt, who brings nearly 15 years of experience in media, advertising technology, and retail, will lead innovation for retail media networks and drive the development of novel solutions. He most recently held senior roles at Amazon, where he led enterprise sales teams, bespoke retail measurement programs, and the go-to-market strategy for Amazon’s Demand Side Platform (DSP). Earlier in his career, he played a key role in building Target’s Roundel retail media business in collaboration with Google.

In his new role, Dabbelt will focus on building partnerships and advancing retail media innovations.
