NRF launches NRF Rev to highlight the future of reverse logistics

NRF Rev will feature keynotes, roundtables, networking, and an expo of cutting-edge reverse logistics technologies.

WASHINGTON — The National Retail Federation (NRF) is ushering in a new era for reverse logistics with the launch of NRF Rev, a reimagined annual event focused on the future of product returns and retail circularity.

Replacing the longstanding Reverse Logistics Association Conference & Expo, the inaugural NRF Rev will debut January 11–12, 2026, at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. The event will run alongside NRF 2026: Retail’s Big Show at the Javits Convention Center, creating new synergies between sustainability, supply chain, and consumer experience professionals.

“Returns and reverse logistics are an important component of the retail supply chain ecosystem, and consumer preferences around sustainable practices continue to grow,” NRF Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability and Executive Director of the Center for Retail Sustainability Scot Case said. “NRF Rev will provide retailers with the latest technology and resources to redefine their returns processes, increase customer loyalty and support sustainability initiatives.”

NRF Rev is set to feature a dynamic mix of keynotes, interactive roundtables, networking opportunities, and an expo floor showcasing cutting-edge reverse logistics technologies. Attendees can expect insights from top brands, manufacturers, and thought leaders driving innovation in circular retail models.

The event underscores NRF’s commitment to sustainability and operational excellence in retail, building on its 2023 acquisition of the Reverse Logistics Association (RLA).

Registration for NRF Rev will open Sept. 8. For more information, visit here.

With NRF Rev, the retail industry gains a powerful new platform to address evolving customer expectations, environmental goals, and the complexities of modern return systems.
