Jeff Strong has decided to leave his position as global chief customer officer of Johnson & Johnson (J&J), effective August 23.
Strong is departing to pursue an opportunity that will allow him to be closer to his family in Salt Lake City. According to a source close to the matter, he will have leadership of a division of Sun Products Corp., which is based in Wilton, Conn., but has manufacturing facilities in Salt Lake City as well as other locations around the country.
Strong is credited by J&J executives with leadership in developing a clear strategy for winning with customers around the world as well as identifying needed capabilities.
